So, I came across one of the most creative out of office messages and thought about all the mundane stuff that can be spiced up - only if we thought slightly outside the box. Here's the message:
"Gentle Reader,
It was a quiet Saturday as Daddy got his little girl ready
for the morning. After she’d adjusted her pants to her liking, she looked him in
the eyes quizzically. “Daddy? Mommy’s saying something!”
She ran off down
the hall, pausing at the top of the stairs. “You wait here, Daddy,” she
instructed, gesturing to his mark. “I’m going to see what Mommy’s saying. But
you wait. ‘K? Wait. Right here.”
Daddy waited patiently, not in any
particular hurry to go much of anywhere at that hour, until his daughter
reappeared at the bottom of the stairs. She gripped the handrail and leaned back
a little, preparing to slingshot a message up to her old man.
“Umm…Daddy?
Mommy says she spilled her water.”
Needless to say, Daddy woke up the
rest of the way in a hurry.
